Daina – Marie Dennis and Nashony Baroow were on Thursday April 5, 2018, charged by detectives from MOCA for Conspiracy to Defraud and Obtaining Money by False Pretence. The two were charged following investigations by MOCA into the activities of Prisoners for Christ Telemarketing Services (PFC Telemarketing Services).

Over the past two weeks MOCA detectives have intensified their probe into the activities of PFC Telemarketing Services. This entity with offices in the Corporate Area purported to be able to import motor vehicles upon request of a down payment of Eighty-five to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00 -$100,000.00) until the arrival of the vehicle.

Several operations at their offices resulted in the seizure of several motor vehicles and millions of US and Jamaican dollars also the arrest and charge of the two women. They will appear in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court on Wednesday April 11, 2018.

Again, we implore disgruntled clients of the entity who have seized computers and other equipment from one or more of the locations to hand them over to our office as they may contain material believed to be of evidentiary value to the ongoing investigation.
