Rose Heights Scammer Sentenced

Antoney Davis of Rose Heights St. James, was on Friday October 13, 2017, fined One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) or twelve (12) months in prison and two (2) years in prison at hard labour (suspended for two (2) years0 when he appeared in the St. James Parish Court.

Davis was arrested during a MOCA operation in the Rose Heights community in March 2015. During a search of premises he occupies items used in lottery scamming were found, resulting in him being charged for breaches of the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transactions)(Special Provisions) Act. He later pled guilty to these charges on Thursday October 5, 2017 in the St. James Parish Court.
