Records Officer Convicted and Sentenced

Twenty-four-year-old Records Officer employed to the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court Keiron Montique, was on Friday July 22, 2016 sentenced to six months hard labour.

Montique pled guilty to the offence of Forgery in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court on Monday June 2016, after being arrested by MOCA detectives in March 2016. Reports are that he forged the signature of the Clerk of the Court for the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court and affixed the official court stamp to a document in an attempt to affect the outcome of a matter which was before the court. A report was subsequently made to MOCA resulting in his arrest.
