Five “Hackers” charged by MOCA

Five persons were last week charged for breaches of the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transaction) (Special Provisions) and the Larceny Acts by detectives from MOCA.  Charged for possession of identity information, distributing identity information, using an access device to transport money and conspiracy to defraud are:

  • Douglas Walker otherwise called “Bobby” of a Kingston 19 address
  • Nasha Rolle, of a Kingston 19 address
  • Ortolan Powell of a Kingston 11 address
  • Travis Wilson otherwise called “Happy Feet”
  • Romaine Barrett otherwise called “Swift Pain” of a Mona address

All five persons were arrested on Monday January 15, during MOCA operations in sections of Kingston and St. Andrew. The operations targeted persons who it is alleged have robbed persons of millions, via identity theft and other cyber related means.

They will all appear in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court on Thursday January 25, 2018 to answer to the charges.
